Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Product engineering management.
  • Responsible to supervise product engineering team, provide technical inputs and lead product team in NPI and manufacturing environment.
  • Leads and supports any new product transfer and qualifications from R&D to manufacturing mass production environment.
  • Do 'whatever it takes' to meet or exceed our customers' expectation in compliance with the Quality Policy.
  • Responsible for managing the engineering group in specific technical area.
  • Responsible for overall execution of debug, process and product qualifications.
  • Responsible for yield, product, and process improvement of the specific technical area per KPI deliverables.
  • Responsible for product cost model, BOM Cost reduction, UPH, Overhead and IM reduction of product owned.
  • Perform any duties as directed by the immediate supervisor from time to time.
  • Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
  • Derive Continual Improvement.
  • Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.
  • Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor/Master/PhD of Science/Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in related industry and in mass production environment with at least 4 years in managerial capacity.
  • Preferably in Product/Test Engineering.
  • Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature, availability of buddy, duration of learning, etc
  • With good computer literacy and good communication skill.
  • Strong in communication skill and team management.
  • Strength in data statistics analysis, manufacturing problem analysis, as well as management skills.
  • Ability to drive performance
