Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an RF engineering specialist to enhance product manufacturability and reliability through hands-on design, testing, and collaboration with suppliers. You will contribute to selecting components, validating performance, and supporting lifecycle management across multiple programs.

The role requires a Bachelor or Master in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunication & Microwave Engineering with strong RF theory and familiarity with test equipment

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of RF microwave theory and S-parameters.
• Experience with RF devices such as amplifiers, mixers and switches.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzer, network analyzer).

Responsibilities

• Improves product design, manufacturing, test processes and components to meet objectives.
• Collaborates with supply chain to optimize cost and technology opportunities.
• Ensures manufacturing meets business requirements and lifecycle management.
• Supports new product introductions and drives manufacturability testing.
• Coordinates with CM partners to meet delivery, performance and objectives.
• Works with suppliers on part quality, cost and delivery.
• Manages bill of materials and product specification data.
• Leads projects on quality, cost reduction and yield improvements.

Responsibilities

• Improves products design, manufacturing, test processes and components used to meet agreed-upon product objectives.
• Work with supply chain partners to assess manufacturing cost optimize and new component technology opportunities.
• Ensure products manufacturing meet business requirements, including the product lifecycle along with execution of the discontinuation.
• Participates in new product introduction and influence the design of the product to ensure manufacturability, enabling prototype testing and reliability testing during transition into production.
• Work with CM partners for outsourced product to meet deliveries, product performance, and business objectives.
• Work with suppliers and/or material engineering on components quality, cost, and delivery of parts.
• Manage bill of material and product specify information.
• Manage and drive projects eg quality improvement, cost reduction and yield improvement

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree/Master in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunication and Microwave Engineering.

• Knowledge in RF microwave theory of operation, S-parameters, microwave devices eg RF amplifiers, mixers, frequency doublers, switches, attenuator, coupler, and etc
• Knowledge in utilizing test measurement equipment; spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, signal generator, network analyzer, power supply
