Job description

· To develop products, molds, jigs/fixtures based on defined requirements.

· To manage product development schedules and follow up.

· To improve current products, molds, and jigs/fixtures based on the latest findings.

· To support production with all technical and product-related tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

· Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/System Engineering or a related field.

· 3+ years of experience in product development or management.

· 3+ years of experience with 3D design software and reverse engineering tools, e.g., Geomagic Freeform/Wrap, Design X, UG, Autodesk Inventor, Rhinoceros, SolidWorks.

· Experience in engineering of production molds, especially in polyurethane, is an advantage.

· Experience with 3D scanners and 3D printers such as FDM, SLA, and SLS is an advantage.

· Project management experience, well-organized, committed to achieving ambitious targets.

· Technical affinity, creativity, innovative mindset, analytical thinking, open-mindedness, and hands-on approach.

· Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and travel as needed.

· Good command of spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Experience in managing projects and designing training models, skill stations, and bone models for surgical training using 3D software tools.

· Collaboration with technicians and engineers to meet product requirements.

· Ability to contribute innovative design ideas for outstanding products.

· Close cooperation with product management, customer service, and production teams.

· Design and develop new products such as medical education task trainers, models, holders, and accessories.

· Use of state-of-the-art 3D tools, scanners, and printers for product design, development, and visualization.

· Participate in project meetings, define project requirements, and lead projects when required.

· Manage projects from initiation to production transfer and rollout, including project control.

· Coordinate tasks for prototypes, small series, and custom models.

· Document projects and transfer to production with BOMs, assembly instructions, and quality control.

· Investigate and manage suppliers and partners as needed.

· Perform additional tasks as assigned by superiors.

· Comply with 5S, safety, and health regulations.
