Job summary

Always Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a driven Product Engineer to lead RetailAIM, our in-house retail execution and field force automation solution. You will act as a bridge between customers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful product delivery and excellent customer experience.

You will oversee the product lifecycle, manage software implementation projects, and drive continuous improvements across the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, CS, BIS, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in product management, project management, software implementation, or related role.
• Experience in FMCG, Retail Tech, ERP, POS, SaaS, or enterprise software is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software implementation processes.
• Experience managing customer-facing projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer-centric mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle of RetailAIM, including planning, implementation, enhancements, and support.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, manage timelines, and ensure delivery.
• Maintain strong customer relationships with updates and handling enhancement requests.
• Coordinate with development and support teams to prioritize improvements and resolve issues.
• Monitor project progress, KPIs, and product performance while driving continuous improvements.

About The Role

We are looking for a driven and customer-focused

We are looking for a driven and customer-focused Product Engineer to lead the growth and success of RetailAIM, our in-house retail execution and field force automation solution.

In this role, you will serve as the bridge between customers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful product delivery, seamless project implementation, and exceptional customer experience. You will oversee the product lifecycle, manage software implementation projects, drive continuous product improvements, and lead support operations to ensure our solutions continue to deliver value to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle of RetailAIM, including product planning, project implementation, feature enhancements, and ongoing operational support


• Collaborate with customer and internal stakeholders to gather business requirements, manage project timelines, and ensure successful delivery that meets business objectives


• Manage customer relationships by providing project updates, addressing enhancement requests, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction


• Work closely with development and support teams to prioritize product improvements, coordinate issue resolution, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations


• Monitor project progress, operational KPIs, and product performance while driving continuous improvements, process optimization, and quality standards

Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field


• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Product Management, Project Management, Software Implementation, or a related role


• Experience in FMCG, Retail Technology, ERP, POS, SaaS, or Enterprise Software Solutions is an added advantage


• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and software implementation processes


• Experience managing customer-facing projects and coordinating cross-functional teams


• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a customer-centric mindset


• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
