Job description

Manage the product development lifecycle from concept to final production, ensuring products meet quality, cost, and timeline objectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, sourcing, engineering, marketing, and sales to align on product specifications, pricing, and go-to-market plans.

Create and manage product development calendars, tracking milestones and communicating timelines to stakeholders.

Oversee prototype development and sample reviews, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.

Identify and source materials, components, and suppliers as needed for product execution.

Maintain accurate product documentation including product specifications, product catalogues and PowerPoint presentations for biannual Seasonal Buying Conferences, etc.

Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform product features, positioning, and pricing strategies.

Resolve development or production issues, ensuring product integrity and performance standards are upheld.

Evaluate vendor capabilities and build strong relationships with manufacturers to optimize quality and delivery.

Monitor industry trends and customer feedback to support product innovation and iteration.

Oversee the collaboration with Quality Control (QC) team on New Product p Introduction (NPI), tracking timelines and ensuring compliance with testing standards.

Manage the development of packaging designs and execution of seasonal product launches with Brand Creative team.

Support special projects and additional product development tasks as assigned by senior leadership or top management.


Job Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Industrial Design, Business, or a related field with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

5+ years of experience in product development or related roles, preferably in home, fashion, retail, etc.).

Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple products and deadlines simultaneously.

Proficiency in product development tools and systems (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, Adobe Illustrator, etc.).

Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials sourcing, and cost engineering.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and external vendors.

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, efficiency, and product performance.

Analytical thinker with a customer-centric mindset.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and performance data, identifying actionable opportunities for product improvement.

Flexibility and willingness to travel both locally and internationally as business needs require.
