JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Assist in the design and development of new products, working closely with senior engineers to meet technical specifications and customer requirements.
2. Provide technical assistance to the Sales team by addressing inquiries, preparing relevant documentation, and offering solutions to product-related questions.
3. Perform basic engineering calculations and support the creation of detailed process documentation for new product introductions.
4. Prepare and update product tables tailored to specific products or project needs, ensuring accuracy and consistency in product data.
5. Assist in the creation and review of Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring product designs align with manufacturing requirements.
6. Contribute to 3D modeling tasks and design validation using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo).
7. Work with the Purchasing team, China-based manufacturing plants, and external vendors, providing technical input and ensuring the manufacturability of designs.
8. Support the Testing team by preparing spool drawings and assisting in the development of product manuals and technical literature.

JOB REQUIREMENT

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
2. Approximately 2 years of relevant experience in product development, mechanical design, or engineering.
3. Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo).
4. Strong understanding of engineering principles, mechanical design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
5. Excellent attention to detail, with strong organizational and documentation skills.
6. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
7. Familiarity with BOM management, ERP systems, and design for manufacturability (DFM) principles is a plus.
