Job description

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Product Designer cum Procurement with a flair for fashion to join our creative team. In this role, you’ll be involved in researching trends, understanding consumer preferences, and translating ideas into prototypes for modest fashion products and merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and set design requirements based on findings.
• Remain up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and consumer preferences.
• Able to use appropriate software to produce prototypes and test functionality.
• Occasionally travel to clients' production facilities to evaluate the feasibility of production.
• Effectively communicating design ideas, concepts, and rationale to Top Management, presenting designs and justifying design decisions based on user research and best practices.
• Work closely with textile designers other teams (sales, operation and marketing) to establish plan for product release.
• Acknowledge budget and make plans in order to follow financial guidelines.
• Create product prototypes prior to creating final product.
• Adjust approach towards designs based on feedback provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in related field
• 1 - 3 years experience in product design or related field
• Strong creative, design and communication skills
• Portfolio of work.

Skills and Criteria

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritization skills.
• Strong IT skills in particular with Microsoft Office, Google Doc, Slide, Sheet etc
• In-depth understanding of product designing.
