Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to craft user-centered interfaces for web, Android, and iOS. You will transform complex requirements into intuitive designs, conduct usability testing, and iterate based on feedback.

You will collaborate with product managers and engineers, uphold design systems such as Material Design, and stay ahead of UI/UX trends to deliver competitive product experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with 3-5 years of relevant experience, demonstrating a strong portfolio of user-centered design solutions.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, with a deep understanding of creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web, Android, and iOS platforms.
• Solid grasp of design principles, including Product Design, Interaction Design, and familiarity with design systems like Material Design and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
• Experience conducting Usability Testing and User Interviews to gather insights and iterate on designs based on Structured Feedback Review.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive and engaging user interfaces, with a focus on creating seamless user experiences.
• Familiarity with the nuances of designing for Trading Interfaces is a plus, understanding the specific needs and workflows of financial applications.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin being highly advantageous for collaborating with a diverse team and user base.
• A passion for staying updated with the latest UI/UX trends and technologies to ensure innovative and competitive product design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web, Android, and iOS platforms.
• Design and prototype user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma, adhering to established design systems and best practices like Material Design and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
• Conduct usability testing and user interviews to gather feedback, analyze user behavior, and identify areas for improvement in the product's design and functionality.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, data analysis, and cross-functional team input to ensure optimal user experience and product performance.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a comprehensive design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all product touchpoints.
• Assist in the creation of visual assets, icons, and other design elements that align with the brand's aesthetic and enhance the overall user interface.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, technologies, and design patterns, and proactively propose innovative solutions to enhance the user experience.
