Job summary

Molex, a Koch company and leading supplier of connectors and interconnect components, seeks a Product Design Engineer to support PSBU High Power projects and drive new product development. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of product design and development experience.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD design and engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for New Product Developments, Modifications, Standard Product Options, and legacy product maintenance and technical support projects.
• Plan and execute assigned projects with deliverables, timelines, and objectives.
• Collaborate with customers, Product Management, and Sales to develop VOC-aligned solutions per the Product Development Process.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Lead engineering activities to meet customer expectations and manufacturing requirements.
• Develop and maintain product models, drawings, specifications, DVP&R, tolerance analyses, test summaries, and application specs.
• Evaluate and manage product and application specifications to support successful development and commercialization.
• Prioritize work with supervision and contribute to organizational goals.
• Apply Principle Based Management in daily decision-making and work activities.
• Manage engineering change activities (ECRs/ECNs).
