Your Job
Responsible for developing and executing the global strategic direction for assigned customer accounts. Serves as the primary contact for pricing, new product development, technology initiatives, and performance programs related to delivery and quality. Additionally, provides engineering support for high-power projects.
Our Team
Collaborates with internal teams - including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and Customer Service- and external partners such as customers, distributors, and suppliers.
What You Will Do
- Support NPDs, MODs, standard options, and legacy product maintenance
- Manage and deliver assigned engineering projects successfully
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customer-aligned solutions
- Coordinate multiple projects with Engineering, Manufacturing, AQP, Tooling, and Reliability
- Lead technical efforts to meet design and production requirements
- Create and maintain models, drawings, specs, DVP&Rs, and test documentation
- Develop expertise in assigned product families (e.g. PSD, PDD, PK, PS, AS, TS)
- Organize and prioritize tasks independently with supervision as needed
- Align daily activities with organizational goals and the PBM framework
- Manage engineering changes through ECRs and ECNs
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Fundamental understanding of Product Design & Development principles
- Knowledge of material selection for plastic and metal components, factoring in mechanical, thermal, electrical, and environmental considerations
- Basic grasp of Electrical Engineering concepts
- Familiarity with SAP and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to lead and contribute to virtual meetings
- Self-motivated and quick to learn, able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Skilled in planning and following project timelines, including contingency planning
- Proficient in data analysis and effective problem-solving
- Ability to build strong collaboration, communicate effectively, and contribute to positive team dynamics
- Awareness of Agile and Scrum methodologies
