Haier Malaysia is seeking a proactive Demand & Inventory Planner to develop monthly forecasts and ensure optimal stock levels across product categories.
The role requires 2–5 years in demand or supply planning, strong Excel skills, and a proven ability to collaborate with sales, product and marketing teams to drive accurate forecasts and successful launches.

Develop and maintain monthly demand forecasts for assigned product categories using historical data, sales inputs, market trends, and promotional plans.
Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams to validate forecast assumptions.
Support new product launches with forecast and allocation planning.
Plan and manage inventory replenishment to ensure healthy stock levels while minimizing excess and aging inventory.
Coordinate with regional/global supply teams on purchase orders, inbound planning, and supply constraints.
Ensure timely escalation and resolution for stock shortages or overstock situations.
Prepare data and reports for weekly/monthly meetings, including forecast summary, risks/opportunities, and supply issues.
Provide actionable insights based on demand trends, sell-through performance, and channel feedback.
Work closely with product marketing on product transitions.
Partner with channel sales teams to understand channel demand, sellout trends, promotions, and seasonal fluctuations.
Support timely allocation of limited inventory during supply constraints.
Maintain accurate planning reports and dashboards (forecast tracker, inventory report, sellout performance).
Analyze market data and competitor activities that may impact demand planning.
Drive process improvement to enhance planning accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, Economics, Operations Management, or related fields.
2–5 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or inventory management (preferably in consumer electronics, FMCG, or retail).
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel
Able to interpret large datasets and provide meaningful insights.
Strong communication and cross-functional alignment skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and strong in problem-solving.
Comfortable in fast-paced environments with frequent product changes and tight timelines.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
