Is this your next challenge as a Procurement Specialist?

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work with the Procurement Manager to manage low value and low complexity procurement projects, including:
  2. Conduct market research on procurement categories.
  3. Gather and analyze internal spend and supplier performance data.
  4. Agree on appropriate procurement strategies, including negotiation strategies such as face-to-face or e-Auctions.
  5. Draft and/or quality assure tendering documentation.
  6. Launch procurements via the e-Sourcing tool.
  7. Agree on evaluation approaches and educate stakeholders on evaluation methodology.
  8. Engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across markets to understand business needs and identify risks and issues.
  9. Lead procurement and contract negotiations.
  10. Manage contract award processes, including DocuSign procedures and storing contracts in the Contract Database.
  11. Support the Procurement Manager in delivering medium to high value and complex procurements.
  12. Develop and implement contract management approaches and assess supplier performance.
  13. Create quarterly category reviews, identifying risks, issues, and opportunities for business improvement.
  14. Assist in completing Non-Trade Procurement reporting, including savings trackers and approvals.
  15. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and security requirements, such as Cyber Security.
  16. Maintain integrity and ethics throughout the procurement process.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of procurement experience.
  • Experience working in procurement teams and/or within retail or multi-market environments preferred.
  • Proven expertise in procurement and contract management, with knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ability to manage the end-to-end procurement process independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and computer literacy.
  • Strong attention to detail, numeracy skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive, well-organized, efficient, and able to perform under pressure.
  • Aspiring to develop a career in procurement.
