Job Description:

1. Procurement:

• Oversee procurement channels to support new projects and mass production, implementing strategies aligned with company goals.
• Maintain and update a rolling three-month procurement plan weekly and monthly, including cost, quality, delivery, and lead time reviews based on demand set by the planner.
• Manage orders within the IFS ERP system, ensuring accurate order generation, supplier delivery confirmation, and expediting delayed materials.
• Control inventory in line with monthly sales targets to achieve inventory goals.
• Ensure procurement meets production needs through effective cross-departmental communication.
• Adhere to budget constraints and optimize procurement processes.
• Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or service promptly.
• Handle MRO and other indirect purchases, streamline processes, review quotations, issue purchase orders in IFS, and follow up on open POs.
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers and provide timely feedback to supervisors.
• Monitor market trends and analyze supplier performance regularly.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments periodically.
• Collaborate with sourcing teams on cost improvements and supplier evaluations.

3. Documentation:

• Manage procurement records ensuring transparency and compliance.
• Report and control procurement KPIs daily, implementing improvements to meet annual targets.

4. Others

• Perform any other tasks assigned by management as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven procurement experience, preferably in an EMS environment.
• Proficiency in IFS or similar ERP systems.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage supplier relationships.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both verbal and written.
