What Will We Be Doing

  • Manage direct and indirect procurement processes of the company.
  • Establish procurement processes and policies aligned with contractual governance.
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) if no external Quantity Surveyor (QS) is appointed.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to optimize costs and increase value creation.
  • Identify and assess purchasing risks.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement purchasing strategies.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders to align business requirements with long-term category strategies, budgets, and operational plans.
  • Lead and source relationships with strategic suppliers to ensure performance.
  • Ensure sustainable value creation through best value for money—considering quality and price.
  • Guarantee proper budget closure and follow up on vendor payments.
  • Compare construction and equipment costs with market price trends.
  • Prepare reports on tenders and comparison charts.
  • Ensure proper preparation of tenders, construction contracts, purchase orders, and payment certificates.
  • Define and implement procurement strategies with appropriate processes, tools, and policies.
  • Facilitate Green Building certification (EDGE certification).

Profile

What We Would Like To See

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Quantity Surveying, Structural Engineering, or related fields; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Sportive attitude and enthusiasm for sports.
  • Proficiency in the local language and English (written and spoken).
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in procurement, quantity surveying, construction, tendering, and procurement planning; retail industry experience is preferred.
  • Strong market connections and experience in retail store openings are advantageous.
  • Excellent listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to think innovatively.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with effective communication with team members and management.
