Job Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality, price, and delivery terms.
- Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, supplier information, and inventory levels.
- Evaluate supplier performance and develop strategic supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure specifications, budget, and timelines are met.
- Monitor market trends and identify new products and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and relevant regulations.
- Prepare cost analyses and reports for management review.
Job Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Language(s) Required: Bahasa Malaysia and English, ability to converse in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role (1â3+ years depending on seniority).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., Million, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
