Requirements:Additional knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards will be an added advantage.Key Responsibilities:Identify and source reliable suppliers for materials, equipment, and services, evaluating them based on quality, price, reliability, and service.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Prepare, process, and track purchase orders, maintaining accurate records of all procurement transactions.Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with internal teams to meet material requirements, and plan for timely stock replenishment.Regularly assess supplier performance and promptly address delivery, quality, or pricing issues.Collaborate with project, operations, and finance teams to align procurement with organizational goals, project timelines, and budgets.Analyze procurement costs to identify opportunities for cost savings and prepare detailed reports on activities and supplier performance.Conduct market research to stay informed on trends, pricing, and new suppliers, ensuring competitiveness and cost-efficiency.Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, regulations, and ethical standards while mitigating risks like supply chain disruptions.Continuously review and improve procurement processes, implementing best practices for effective supply chain management.
