Procurement Manager -SEA & ANZ

About the role

Veolia Water Technologies Sdn Bhd, a leading provider of water and wastewater treatment solutions, is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee procurement activities in Southeast Asia and Australia/New Zealand regions. This full-time role will be based in our modern KL Eco City office in Kuala Lumpur.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing to supplier management, for goods and services required by the SEA and ANZ businesses
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible pricing, terms and conditions
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to support business objectives and drive cost savings
• Oversee the procurement team, providing guidance, training and performance management
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures as well as external regulations
• Analyse procurement data and generate reports to identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to align procurement activities with overall business needs

What we're looking for

• Minimum 8 years of procurement experience, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industries
• Proven track record of successfully managing a procurement function and leading a team
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in the use of procurement software and data analysis tools
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
