Position: Procurement Manager

Location: Penang, Malaysia

Responsibilities

  • Develop, lead, and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Drive supplier selection, evaluation, and development for quality, cost, delivery, and risk performance.
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and long-term supplier agreements to achieve cost savings and value creation.
  • Collaborate with engineering, planning, and quality teams to align sourcing with business and technical requirements.
  • Analyze market and industry trends to identify procurement opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Oversee supplier negotiations including pricing, terms, and service-level agreements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct periodic business reviews to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Implement procurement best practices, tools, and technologies including Oracle procurement modules.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance, policies, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and mentor the procurement team to enhance capability and execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement management in manufacturing or high-tech industry.
