Key Responsibilities Strategic Procurement Leadership
- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for integrated CSA and MEP packages
- Lead the tendering process from supplier identification to contract award
- Establish supplier evaluation criteria with emphasis on technical capabilities across disciplines
- Drive innovation in procurement approaches to deliver cost efficiencies while maintaining quality standards
Supplier Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key CSA and MEP suppliers and contractors
- Conduct regular performance reviews against established KPIs
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing structures, and framework agreements
- Develop supplier capability and capacity to meet project requirements
Technical Procurement Expertise
- Assess technical specifications for CSA and MEP works to ensure alignment with procurement strategy
- Review tender submissions with understanding of both structural and building services requirements
- Collaborate with design teams to identify value engineering opportunities across disciplines
- Provide technical input during contract negotiations for specialized equipment and services
Process Management & Governance
- Establish and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practices
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards
- Implement risk management strategies specific to CSA and MEP procurement
- Develop and maintain procurement documentation systems
Team Leadership
- Manage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and development
- Foster collaboration between procurement and technical/project teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes
- Mentor team members in specialized technical procurement approaches
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or related field
- Professional qualification in procurement (CIPS, ISM) highly desirable
- Minimum 8 years' procurement experience with significant exposure to both CSA and MEP systems
- Proven track record in managing complex procurement for large-scale construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial frameworks

- Advanced knowledge of building systems, construction methodologies, and material specifications
- Strategic thinking with ability to align procurement approaches with project objectives
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities
- Strong analytical skills for supplier evaluation and performance measurement
- Effective leadership qualities with ability to drive team performance
