Job description

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Purchasing & Procurement

  • Oversee end-to-end purchasing processes: from Purchase Request Order (PRO) to Purchase Order (PO) issuance, delivery tracking, invoice closure, and e-documentation.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and maintain good relationships.
  • Assist in resolving issues related to delivery, quality, or service.
  • Monitor outstanding PROs and invoices, ensuring timely payment release and system updates.

2. Inventory Management

  • Manage and monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages or overstock.
  • Coordinate monthly stock takes, ensure cut-off adherence, and reconcile with accounting.
  • Monitor slow-moving items and flag potential risks.
  • Coordinate with relevant department on required items and orders, overseeing data abstraction, picking and packing, and efficient distribution processes.
  • Ensure daily stock updatesinthesystem.
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers and provide timely feedback to the direct superior for any issues.
  • Monitor market trends and analyze supplier performance.
  • Conduct regular supplier audits and assessments.
  • Collaborate with sourcing team on materials costs improvement and suppliers’ evaluation.

4. Documentation

  • Manage procurement records and documentation for transparency and compliance.
  • Responsible for daily reporting and control of procurement related KPIs, including taking improvement measures to achieve annual KPI targets.

5. Others

  • Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned bythemanagement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate preferred possess with a Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain management, operations and any other related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years and above of working experience in Supply Chain / Procurement / Inventory and others.
  • Fresh graduate are welcome to apply.
  • Highly adaptable, patient, organized, disciplined and is able to follow-up on tasks, good in time management and able to work under pressure in fast-paced environment.
  • Good in written and communication in English, Malay & Chinese.
