Job description

We're looking to add a Procurement Executive located in Taiping, Perak to support our teams and contribute to our growth.

Job Descriptions:
  1. Follow up with overseas vendor order status and shipment arrangements upon Purchase Order generation.
  2. Identify import product H.S. codes and apply for taxes (import duty or SST) exemption applications.
  3. Collaborate with internal departments to complete taxes exemption applications or disposal processes.
  4. Ensure timely submission of taxes exemption applications, customs reports, and material disposal applications in compliance with customs importation rules and regulations.
  5. Liaise with customs or MIDA officers regarding taxes exemption applications.
  6. Coordinate with the Logistics team on import shipment matters.
  7. Manage new projects by communicating with internal and external parties.
  8. Perform other tasks as deemed necessary and assigned by superiors.
Skills and Personalities:
  1. Diploma in Supply Chain Management or related fields.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
  3. Familiarity with customs regulation compliance and exemption facilities.
  4. Knowledge of H.S. code identification and stock reconciliation.
  5. Experience in using ERP systems.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, BI) at an intermediate level.
  7. Good communication skills.
