  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable purchase terms and protect company interests
  • Analyze and improve current purchasing activities and practices
  • Plan material requirements and issue purchase orders
  • Monitor inventory levels to meet targets and reduce obsolete stock
  • Track production volume, customer demand, and purchasing trends
  • Work with production planners and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement plans
  • Source and assess potential suppliers for inclusion in the Approved External Provider List
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors
