Procurement Executive (Food Manufacturing)
Responsibilities
- Plan, source, and negotiate with suppliers for best price, quality, and lead time.
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Production to ensure sufficient stock and uninterrupted operations.
- Maintain and update Approved Supplier List (ASL) in line with FSSC 22000 / ISO 9001 / Halal / MESTI standards.
- Conduct supplier evaluation, performance monitoring, and compliance checks.
- Manage purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation.
- Monitor market trends and support cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with QA/QC, Production, and Finance on material quality, cost, and payment matters.
Job Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, Halal, and MESTI standards.
- Strong negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Fluent in English and BM; Mandarin an advantage.
