Job summary

A food manufacturing company based in Selangor is looking for a Procurement Executive to manage sourcing, supplier negotiation, and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Supply Chain or Business and at least 5 years of procurement experience, alongside strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in English and MS Office is essential, with knowledge of FSSC 22000 and Halal standards being advantageous.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, Halal, and MESTI standards.

• Plan, source, and negotiate with suppliers for best price and quality.

• Maintain Approved Supplier List in line with standards.
• Conduct supplier evaluation and compliance checks.

Procurement Executive (Food Manufacturing)

Responsibilities

• Plan, source, and negotiate with suppliers for best price, quality, and lead time.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Production to ensure sufficient stock and uninterrupted operations.
• Maintain and update Approved Supplier List (ASL) in line with FSSC 22000 / ISO 9001 / Halal / MESTI standards.
• Conduct supplier evaluation, performance monitoring, and compliance checks.
• Manage purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation.
• Monitor market trends and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with QA/QC, Production, and Finance on material quality, cost, and payment matters.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, Halal, and MESTI standards.
