Position Responsibilities
- Ensuring the procurement activities are executed as per the company’s procurement procedure.
- Plan and implement supply chain processes that include Inbounding, Purchase Order, and Goods Receive Note.
- Monitor inventory levels at inbound warehouses to ensure adequate stock for outlets.
- Work closely with planners on forecasts to suppliers.
- Coordinate activities with other departments such as sample requests, shipping, receiving, storing, picking, packing, and expediting goods.
- Negotiate with local suppliers on price, delivery, payment terms, and services.
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers to ensure a continuous supply of goods and services.
- Perform other related duties/tasks as assigned by superiors or management.
- Identify supply and supplier issues, analyze information to assess root causes, improvements, and associated risks, and recommend and implement solutions.
Qualifications & Experiences
- Must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of working experience in Supply Chain or Procurement functions.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and system-oriented background.
- Computer literate with good command of both written and spoken English and Malay.
- Assertive, dynamic, with good communication skills.
- Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A valuable team player and able to work independently.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel.
