Job description

Position Responsibilities
  • Ensuring the procurement activities are executed as per the company’s procurement procedure.
  • Plan and implement supply chain processes that include Inbounding, Purchase Order, and Goods Receive Note.
  • Monitor inventory levels at inbound warehouses to ensure adequate stock for outlets.
  • Work closely with planners on forecasts to suppliers.
  • Coordinate activities with other departments such as sample requests, shipping, receiving, storing, picking, packing, and expediting goods.
  • Negotiate with local suppliers on price, delivery, payment terms, and services.
  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers to ensure a continuous supply of goods and services.
  • Perform other related duties/tasks as assigned by superiors or management.
  • Identify supply and supplier issues, analyze information to assess root causes, improvements, and associated risks, and recommend and implement solutions.
Qualifications & Experiences
  • Must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of working experience in Supply Chain or Procurement functions.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and system-oriented background.
  • Computer literate with good command of both written and spoken English and Malay.
  • Assertive, dynamic, with good communication skills.
  • Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A valuable team player and able to work independently.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel.
