Job description

Responsibilities:
  1. Source, select, and negotiate purchase packages with suppliers, considering quality, price, terms, delivery, and services.
  2. Coordinate with Production Planners to ensure stock levels meet minimum stock level (MSL).
  3. Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) with supporting documents.
  4. Obtain necessary approvals for POs based on the authorization matrix, especially in the absence of the Procurement Manager.
  5. Follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules.
  6. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, such as customs and MIDA, to avoid hidden costs.
  7. Maintain proper documentation of all purchases in the ERP system.
  8. Submit complete documents (invoice, DO/PL, GRN, PO, etc.) to the Accounts department timely.
  9. Prepare reports as required.
  10. Perform any other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma or higher in Business Studies, Administration, Management, Commerce, Logistics, or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Purchasing.
  • Proficiency in English and Malay; knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changes.
  • Sense of urgency, positive attitude, initiative, passion, and responsibility.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
