Job description

As a Procurement Executive at Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's purchasing, procurement and inventory management functions. This full-time position is based in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan, and will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes.

What you'll be doing

Responsibilities and Authorities:

1. Responsible for procurement materials/items sourcing and development.

2. Communicate effectively with factory staff and suppliers to ensure stable operation.

3. Solve problems between factory staff & suppliers regarding urgent orders and non-compliance issues.

4. Conduct price negotiations with suppliers to achieve cost improvement.

5. Responsible for Supplier Management (including supplier evaluation and vendor non-conformance requisition).

6. Monitor and update supplier information, tax exemption and other compliances.

7. Maintain records and proper filing to fulfil regulatory requirement.

8. Organize supplier audits upon request.

9. Supply risk management (ensure approved procedures are implemented and maintained).

10. Ensure purchase of procurement materials/items is comply to all the requirements.

11. Perform special / ad hoc functions related to purchasing matters.

12. To equip with sufficient safety and environment knowledge and awareness.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate preferably possess Degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance/Accounting, Science/ Business Management or any related.

• Fresh Graduate are encourage to apply.

• Candidates with experience in Food & Beverage Manufacturing Industry is an added advantage.

• Knowledge of HACCP & Halal Certification is an added advantage.

• Possess strong negotiation and analytical skills.

• Possess good interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, positive attitude, self-motivated.

• Team-oriented with high integrity and sensitive to cost factor.
