Job summary

A leading company in satellite communication services is seeking a procurement officer to manage purchase orders, vendor relations, and ensure compliance with procurement policies. The ideal candidate should possess strong negotiation skills and have a degree in business administration with relevant experience in procurement. Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in procurement, managing tenders, RFQ, and vendor onboarding.
• Ability to manage workload and ensure compliance with procurement policy.
• Good negotiation skills and integrity.

• Preparation of Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure compliance with procurement procedures.
• Sourcing products/services at competitive prices and managing vendor onboarding.

Preparation of Purchase Orders ("PO") in a timely manner.

Ensure procurement procedures and approvals on Purchase Requisitions ("PR") and POs, and Delivery Orders ("DO") are in compliance with MEASAT’s Procurement Policy and Limits of Authority ("LOA") Manual.

Sourcing for products or services at competitive prices.

Updating records on Apparatus Assignments.

Preparation of Request for Quotations ("RFQ"). Identification of vendors to participate in RFQ’s.

Ensure full functionality of SAP for Procurement.

Follow up with vendors to ensure that materials and invoices are delivered on time and Delivery Orders are duly signed.

Educating end-users on procurement of materials and services.

Manage vendor database and onboarding process.

REQUIREMENTS

Degree holder in Business Administration or equivalent.

At least 3 years of experience in procurement, managing tenders, RFQ, and vendor onboarding.

Good negotiation skills, ability to manage workload, integrity, and meticulous documentation.
