A growing tech company in Petaling Jaya is seeking a Full-Time Procurement Executive to build their procurement function from scratch. You will manage procurement processes, negotiate contracts, and work closely with the finance team. We need a practical, get-things-done Procurement Executive who can build our procurement function from scratch—and build it right. If you know purchasing and vendor management inside out, and can set up processes and policies that actually work in a fast-moving company, this role is yours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and roll out procurement processes, SOPs, and tracking systems—preferably automate.
  • Define clear procurement policies and approval workflows to keep everything tight and compliant.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts confidently with suppliers and service providers.
  • Raise and manage purchase orders (POs), making sure all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Keep tabs on supplier performance and maintain up-to-date vendor records.
  • Work closely with finance to verify invoices, track costs, and stay on budget.
  • Spot opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiency in procurement operations.
  • Recommend or introduce digital tools or lightweight platforms that can make procurement smarter.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or related fields.
  • 1–2 years in procurement, purchasing, or operations.
  • Experience setting up or being involved in procurement processes or workflows is a big plus.
  • Familiarity with marketing services, procurement software, or digital tools is an advantage.


Skills

  • Highly organized with strong planning skills.
  • Confident in independently designing and implementing new systems or processes.
  • Sharp negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Workspace; experience with procurement or project management software is a plus.
  • Clear and effective communicator, able to liaise well internally and externally.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
