A leading flavor and fragrance company in Negeri Sembilan is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing and procurement tasks. This role involves coordinating sample requests, processing orders, and purchasing raw materials. Ideal candidates should have a diploma related to supply chain management and 2-3 years of relevant experience, along with strong Mandarin and English communication skills.

Job description

Job Scope:
  • Coordinate sample requests for client projects
  • Handle sales order processing with production and shipping teams to ensure timely delivery to customers
  • Source and purchase raw materials and food ingredients for flavor creation and application use
  • Manage all procurement tasks for the company, not limited to raw materials — including office supplies, packaging materials, lab equipment, and other operational needs.
  • Assist the Vice General Manager with OA claims and reimbursements
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or any related disciplines
  • At least 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the F&B, F&F (flavor & fragrance), or chemical industries
  • Able to work independently and possess strong problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous, positive attitude, and excellent follow-up skills
  • Able to work under pressure with a strong sense of urgency
  • Proficient in both Mandarin and English for communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and handling Chinese documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
