Job summary

Kelab Golf Sarawak is seeking a dedicated Procurement Executive to enhance their operational strategies. The role involves developing procurement strategies, negotiating supplier contracts, and ensuring compliance with club’s policies. We are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience and strong negotiation skills to join our dynamic team.

Developing and implementing effective procurement strategies to support the club's operational and strategic objectives

Identifying, evaluating, and selecting reliable suppliers to provide the best value for money

Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions

Maintaining accurate records of all procurement activities and expenditures

Collaborating with various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions

Ensuring compliance with the club's procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations

Continuously exploring ways to streamline and improve the procurement process

Generate purchase order and forward to respective suppliers.

Update and maintain records of all orders.

Purchasing of machinery spare parts, hardware, and other related equipment and tools related.

Perform inventory inspections and reorder supplies and stock as and when necessary.

Purchasing of office supplies.

Sourcing for new/alternative suppliers.

Perform any additional duties as and when assigned by the Superior.

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in the golf industry or a similar service-oriented environment

At least a Bachelor Degree holder in related field.

Strong negotiation and contract management skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Proficient in using procurement software and technologies

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Attention to detail and a keen eye for cost-saving opportunities
