• Candidate must possess at least a Higher Secondary/STPM/'A' Level/Pre-U, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in any field.
• At least 2 years of working experience in Procurement/Purchasing or equivalent in the same position.
• Experience in Food & Beverage/Retail Industry is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP & Halal Certification is an added advantage.
• Required skills: MS Office or ERP system related experience.
• Good negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• High level of communication and analytical skills.
• Able to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Prepare Purchase Orders upon receiving quotations/requests for approval.
• Source new products/suppliers as required.
• Negotiate with suppliers for the best deals.
• Compile and update Product Specifications, Halal and HACCP Certificates for all food & non-food items.
• Work closely with the warehouse department on optimal inventory levels.
• Update management on price fluctuations weekly.
• Follow up to ensure prompt delivery by suppliers.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding complaints as needed.
• Conduct Supplier Questionnaires or Evaluations before qualifying new suppliers periodically.
• Ensure invoice closing and price matching between invoices and ERP system.
• Maintain good housekeeping on the ERP system.
• Forecast demand or bulk purchase plans to ensure material or product availability.
• Handle and liaise with contractors on outlet & CK repair issues.
• Keep track and arrange preventive maintenance schedules for outlets & CK.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
