Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in Procurement/Purchasing.
• Experience in Food & Beverage/Retail is a plus.
• Knowledge in GMP, HACCP & Halal Certification is advantageous.

• Prepare Purchase Orders and source new products.
• Negotiate with suppliers for the best deals.
• Compile product specifications and manage inventory levels.

Job description

Prepare Purchase Order upon receiving quotation/request for approval.

Source for new product / supplier as and when required.

Perform negotiation with suppliers for the best deal.

Compile and update Product Specification, Halal and HACCP Certificate for all food & non-food items.

Work closely with warehouse department on the optimum inventory level.

Compile price fluctuation and update management on weekly basis.

Follow up and ensure prompt delivery by suppliers.

Communicate with supplier on the complaints as and when needed.

Conduct Supplier Questionnaire or Evaluation before qualifying new suppliers periodically.

Ensure invoice closing and price matching between the invoice & ERP system.

Ensure good housekeeping on ERP system.

Forecast demand or bulk purchase plan that ensure availability of materials or products.

Handle and liaise with contractors on outlets & CK repair issues.

Keep track and arrange preventive maintenance schedule for outlets & CK.

Perform other ad-hoc duties as and when required

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in any field.

At least 2 year working experience in Procurement/ Purchasing or equivalent in same position

Experience in Food & Beverage/ Retail Industry is an added advantage

Knowledge in GMP, HACCP & Halal Certification is an added advantage

Required skill(s): MS Office or ERP system related experience

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Possess good negotiation, communication and leadership skill

Possess high level of communication and analytical skill.

Able to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
