Job description

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Procurement Executive to join our team. This role is responsible for planning and executing procurement activities for a wide range of pharmaceutical products, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will also support logistics and distribution matters in alignment with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Forecast, plan, and coordinate the procurement of pharmaceutical products to meet both regular and ad-hoc inventory needs.
  2. Evaluate and monitor supplier performance on product quality, lead time, pricing, and service.
  3. Foster strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
  4. Continuously improve procurement processes and practices.

Logistics & Distribution Support

  1. Track and update shipment status; ensure timely entry of incoming shipments into the system.
  2. Coordinate with logistics service providers and customs officers for smooth clearance and delivery.
  3. Learn and comply with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.

Compliance & System Updates

  1. Assist in updating GDP-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  2. Maintain accurate records, including item master data and import permit information.
  3. Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical distribution.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. 1–2 years of working experience in procurement or supply chain; experience in the pharmaceutical sector is a plus.
  3. English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin are an added advantage.
  4. Strong negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.
  5. Detail-oriented and well-versed in procurement systems and Excel.
  6. Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) is an added advantage.
