Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Develop demand and forecast plans to ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained to meet daily
outletoperation needs, ensure stockouts and wastage are avoided.

2. Ensures & verifies that quotations are regularly updated and supplier’s new current price lists are
maintained.

3. Create database to update vendor details to efficiently store, retrieve and manage the information.

4. Monitor supplier performance and conduct periodic evaluations to ensure that suppliers are meeting
their contractual obligations

5. Research and identify new products and services for the company in the market.

6. To handle and ensure the purchasing processes for all required goods is smooth for business
operation as below:

a. To process purchase requisition received from all departments.

b. To obtain quotation and prepare price comparison and negotiate favorable payment terms before
proceeding with order.

c. Seeking Director’s approval for every purchase order (PO) generated.

d. To submit the approved PO to the respective suppliers and acquire the delivery schedule.

e. To compile the necessary documents for submission to Account Department.

f. To resolve complaints from respective department and outlets concerning delivery, payments,
incomplete documentations or any matter arising pertaining purchasing.

g. To ensure safekeeping of warranty card and to liaise with the suppliers on warranty claims.

7. Collaborate with all other departments such as project team, marketing, and operations to ensure
that purchasing activities are aligned with the needs of the business

8. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.

Job Requirements

1. At least possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management and purchasing.

3. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

4. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

5. Experience with inventory management software and demand planning tools.

6. Knowledge of retail purchasing and supply chain best practices.

7. Must be fully fluent in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
