Job summary

A leading company in the fabrication and assembly of rigging and lifting accessories is seeking a Procurement Executive. This role involves managing supplier relationships, processing orders, and ensuring quality supplies. Candidates should have a diploma and relevant experience, along with proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in related field.
• Capable of working with minimum supervision.
• Experience in procurement or supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders and oversee order fulfilment.
• Liaise with suppliers and service teams.
• Conduct annual supplier performance assessments.

Job description

Source for product & service to obtain best quote in term of price, quality and lead time

Processes purchase orders and oversees cycle of order fulfilment to ensure on-time delivery

Liaise with suppliers and internal customer (service teams, sales coordinators and sales personnel)

Perform selection process for each new supplier to support new intake

Responsible for making sure supplies, stock, materials, packages and /or products are processed through the warehouse system efficiently

Update goods received into Autocount

Prepare Weekly Outstanding Purchase Order Listing

Liaise with Inventory Control personnel in suppliers' defective goods issues which include returns/ replacement and compensation

Check supplier's tax invoice and delivery order to ensure matching with purchase order issued.

Perform annual supplier performance assessment of major existing supplier to ensure continuous communication and improvement on suppliers' product quality and service level

Requirements and skills

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced Diploma,

At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

Able to work independently with minimum supervision yet capable and comfortable to work in team environment

Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

Required software skills: Microsoft Excel and Word. Working experience of Auto Count Accounting is an advantage.
