About the role

Join Acerinox SC Malaysia Sdn Bhd as a full-time Procurement Executive based in Ulu Tiram, Johor. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement and inventory processes to support the manufacturing and logistics operations of the business.

What you'll be doing

• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to ensure timely delivery of materials and services at the best possible prices
• Collaborate with the production and logistics teams to forecast demand and maintain optimum inventory levels
• Identify and onboard new suppliers to expand the procurement network and increase sourcing options
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for all procurement activities
• Streamline procurement processes through the implementation of digital tools and automation
• Provide reporting and analysis to support data-driven procurement decisions

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices, supply chain management and inventory control
• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills to manage supplier relationships
• Proficient in using procurement software and data analysis tools
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate cross-functionally
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
