Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct market research, perform cost comparisons, source materials, negotiate, and purchase materials, parts, supplies, and equipment following established policies and procedures, aiming to optimize price, delivery, and terms.
2. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time, and pricing to meet organizational requirements and expectations.
3. Follow up and expedite material delivery to fulfill production requirements and customer needs.
4. Interact daily with suppliers to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, quality issues, service problems, and invoicing concerns.
5. Liaise with inventory control personnel regarding defective goods, including returns, replacements, and compensation.
6. Continuously improve the purchasing process and contribute to cost reduction activities.
7. Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure healthy stock levels of raw materials, follow up on scheduled orders, and monitor stock delivery and receipt statuses daily.
8. Manage daily company orders with suppliers, ensuring prompt delivery within product specifications.
9. Assist management with purchasing paperwork and process requirements.
10. Handle day-to-day purchasing tasks, update administrative records, and maintain procurement documentation.
11. Perform monthly cost data analysis and prepare reports.
12. Perform any other duties assigned by superiors or management.

Job Requirements:

1. SPM qualification or higher. Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in procurement, logistics, supply chain management, or related fields are preferred.
2. Over 2 years of procurement-related experience, with practical knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and contract management.
3. Experience in developing and maintaining ERP systems.
4. Good team player with strong communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and diligent.
