Sourcing, negotiating, comparing, and analysing materials and services to be purchased, and evaluating vendor quotations to ensure they align with technical specifications and commercial terms.

Be in charge of daily procurement processes such as planning, issuing, and following up on purchase order delivery and shipment schedules.

Evaluate vendor performance based on quality standards, delivery time, and best prices.

Ensure all procurement processes and documents comply with company policies and are well documented.

Undertake any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Adhere to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 standards and best practices in procurement.

Take overall responsibility and accountability for the effectiveness of the HSE management system, prevention of work-related injuries and ill health, and provision of an environmentally friendly, safe, and healthy workplace.

What are we looking for:

Minimum Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Business Administration or relevant field, with at least 5-6 years of experience in a related role.

Fluent in Mandarin preferred, as the role requires dealing with vendors from China.

Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, pride in performance, and understanding of its impact on the company's success.

A well-organized, independent, self-starter, result-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills.

Willing to travel occasionally to Bintulu.
