Role Summary:
This is an important role within the procurement team and will offer you a great opportunity to influence how the team develops over the coming years. The position holder will join the team here in Malaysia and act as a contact specifically for EITS purchases such as hardware, software & cloud computing but will also assist with other categories of spend, such as marketing, professional services, HR, facilities, and travel.
Main responsibilities include creation and management of RFX, developing supplier/stakeholder relationships, negotiating contracts and market-leading commercials, maintenance of quality/governance standards, reducing supply chain risk, enhancing systems to improve the buying process, and leading procurement projects involving multiple departments/countries to bring value to the Experian business. Another main part of this role will be to promote and "sell" the benefit of the Procurement function to the wider business, hosting webinars and training sessions to internal groups.
