Job description

De Pop Asia Sdn. Bhd. is a major distributor of trendy collectibles, providing a wide range of blind boxes, figures, and IP products across various brands. We are the official authorized distributor of POPMART in Malaysia.

As part of our expansion plans, we are seeking a Procurement and Product Executive to join our Business Development Team. This role offers an opportunity to influence our product portfolio, optimize sourcing strategies, and collaborate across departments to support innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and source products that meet the company's quality standards and consumer preferences.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective procurement.
  • Maintain relationships with key suppliers and monitor vendor performance for quality and delivery adherence.
  • Work with the Operations team to forecast inventory needs, manage stock levels, and ensure product availability.
  • Perform reporting and data analysis to track procurement performance, cost savings, and inventory turnover, providing insights and process improvement recommendations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and emerging markets to inform purchasing decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in procurement, product management, or supply chain roles, preferably in wholesale and retail.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
