Job summary

Kimberly-Clark USA, LLC is hiring a Procurement Analyst I in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on outlining agreement activities, PO management, and contract/vendor analysis across local/regional inputs.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in business/finance or supply chain and at least 2 years of purchasing/data management experience. SAP and Coupa knowledge, strong analytical skills, and bilingual Chinese/English abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or related fields.
• A minimum of 2 years of commercial experience preferably with purchasing and data management background.
• Knowledge of Procure-To-Pay processes preferred.
• Analytical and data maintenance skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication in Chinese with good English.
• MS Excel proficiency (Pivot/Vlookup/Formulas) and MS PowerPoint.
• SAP and Coupa system knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely update on outline agreement activities and ensure requests are attended within SLA.
• Provide timely analysis and resolution to issues relating to contract management and system functionality.
• Execute purchase orders for procurement of materials, equipment and services.
• Generate and analyze SAP report data and liaise with suppliers for PO acknowledgment and on-time delivery.
• Review OPEN Aging PO report monthly and coordinate with vendors, buyers, and PR creators for closure.
• Collaborate with Blocked Invoices Team to resolve invoice issues.
• Recommend process improvements to standardize and streamline procedures.
• Assist in other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Procurement Team Leader or Management.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide timely update on outline agreement activities and ensure request is attended within the SLA to stakeholder.


• Provide timely analysis and resolution to issues relating to contract management and system functionality.


• Execute purchase orders for the procurement of materials, equipment and services based on the local/regional buyers’ inputs and ensure all elements of the orders are within established policies and procedures.


• Generate and execute SAP report data and work with suppliers to confirm PO Acknowledgement and on-time delivery or update delivery status on past due orders for all indirect orders.


• Review OPEN Aging PO report at monthly basis and coordinate with vendors, buyers, and PR creators if PO can perform closure.


• Provide timely analysis and resolution to issues relating to contract/vendor management, order placement and system functionality.


• Challenge existing practices and make recommendations concerning improvement to standardizing and streamlining processes.


• Work collaboratively with Blocked Invoices Team and other internal/external customers to assist in resolution of invoice issues.


• Any others ad-hoc task that assign by Procurement Team Leader or Management.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or related fields.


• A minimum of 2 years of commercial experience preferably with purchasing and data management background.


• Knowledge of Procure-To-Pay processes preferred.


• Organized, excellent attention to details, has strong analysis/troubleshooting skills, adaptable and good interpersonal skills.


• Analytical and data maintenance skills.


• Excellent oral and written communication in Chinese. Good command of English language as well.


• Software application competency in MS Excel (Pivot / Vlookup / Formulas), MS Power Point


• SAP and Coupa system knowledge.


• Proactive and able to work under pressure and independently. Must have high sense of responsibility and commitment.
