Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procure-to-Pay Senior Finance Analyst to support the trade team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing P2P operations, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across the full procurement lifecycle. This role is based in Malaysia.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise Procure to Pay daily operations, ensuring all document processing complies with company policies and is executed within established timelines.
• Respond promptly to vendor inquiries regarding invoice submissions and payment status, ensuring issue resolution.
• Prepare supplier payment forecasts and review the payment exception report.
• Review and perform supplier SOA reconciliation, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Provide operational and technical guidance to team members, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Support month-end closing activities, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
• Work closely with stakeholders and vendors to resolve invoice issues, ensuring adherence to policies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies, especially regarding document retention and record-keeping.
• Assist the tax team with GST and e-invoicing submissions.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency within the P2P function.
• Gather relevant information for audits and perform ad-hoc duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• At least an Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, or working towards ACCA, MICPA, CIMA, etc.
• 3-5 years of experience in a shared service environment.
• Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, etc.
