We are seeking a skilled Process Technology Engineer to join our BU Catalysts team at Clariant. In this role, you will oversee and assess existing processes, optimize productivity through designing and implementing new procedures, and provide critical support to production operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate projects related to process and product optimization, creating detailed work plans and managing interactions between Engineering, Business, and Production teams.
• Evaluate and improve existing processes to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency while analyzing production unit reliability.
• Provide expertise in sunliquid technology and enzyme production, including plant startup capabilities and understanding of key procedural requirements.
• Stay current with emerging manufacturing technologies and support production plant projects including troubleshooting and quality improvements.
• Manage, motivate, and develop team members while effectively delegating and monitoring task execution.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and Clariant policies, performing process risk analysis for safe equipment operation.
• Apply statistical methods and project management skills to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• University degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in production, product development, and project management.
• Strong understanding of production processes and process engineering principles.
• Project management skills and proficiency with statistical methods.
• Ability to work effectively across organizational levels with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluency in both Italian and English (written and spoken).
