Process Technician (PCBA/SMT/Mechanical Assembly)

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize SPI/AOI programs, ensuring updated cycle times and minimal false rejects.
• Support engineers in resolving daily process and quality issues.
• Review SPI/AOI program efficiency and drive continuous improvements to prevent defect escape.
• Maintain and control all related documents and program backups.
• Generate and distribute daily reports on SPI/AOI false calls and defect data.
• Conduct programming training for new technicians.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support improvement initiatives and root cause analysis.
• Take proactive action to stop line and troubleshoot when necessary.
• Support engineering evaluations of materials and equipment (e.g. solders, fluxes, installations), and provide feedback for tactical and strategic improvements.
• Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Certificate or Diploma in a technical field, with 1–2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Background in SMT/PCBA, Mechanical Assembly, or Box Build is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SPI, AOI, Reflow, and Screen Printing programming.
• Experience with Panasonic pick-and-place machine programming is a strong advantage.
• Willing and able to work rotational shifts.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
