Job Description :
Responsibilities
- 1. Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
- 2. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.
- 3. Determine and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
- 4. Works with Mfg engineers in conducting experiments. / NPI process setup / Prototype build, DOE, Evaluation run, Data collection. Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning Electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
- 5. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
- 6. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required. May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers.
- 7. Responsible for the set-up and operation of a wave solder machine all back and assembly process equipment listed. Adjusts the speed, temperature, and makes other adjustments to accommodate varying types and sizes as appropriate.
- 8. Support Cepheid Module Prime build and Refurbishment start up.
Qualifications
- 9. Diploma in any related engineering field.
- 10. EMS background is an added advantage.
- 11. Preferable with 2-3 years of working experience in related field.
- 13. Self motivated nature and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
