Qualifications

Familiarity with first article inspection and process validation during NPIs.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot SMT production equipment including solder paste printers, SPI, pick-and-place, reflow ovens and AOI systems.
Monitor SMT line performance to ensure products meet quality requirements.
Support machine changeovers, product conversions and NPIs with proper inspection and validation.
Set up and maintain automated dispensing equipment and optimize dispensing parameters (pressure, time, needle size, path, volume).
Monitor dispensing quality and perform material refill, purging, and preventive maintenance.

SMT Process Support

- Pick-and-place machines
- Reflow ovens
- AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) systems

Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Participate in continuous improvement projects to improve:
- Yield
- Throughput
- Quality
- Equipment utilization
