Job Description: Production Line Operator

Responsibilities

1. Manage the production line safely and efficiently according to Standard Operating Procedures and Conditions.
2. Ensure equipment setup accuracy and report discrepancies immediately.
3. Systematically troubleshoot machine and process issues.
4. Provide products at the required roll per shift target.
5. Facilitate maintenance, including minor repairs, and perform manual operations such as packaging and loading.
6. Conduct shift handover inspections to confirm optimal line condition.
7. Verify quantities, finalize production orders in SymPLE, and adhere to SAP procedures.
8. Follow scrap instructions, properly baling scrap material.
9. Perform activities such as packaging, core cutting, labeling, stretch wrapping, palletizing, and forklift operation.
10. Maintain effective housekeeping and cleanliness of machinery and work areas.
11. Assist in training new trainees and perform duties as assigned by supervisors.
12. Adhere to BRC standards and quality plans, facilitate quality campaigns, and ensure proper documentation.
13. Promptly rework products and respond to CAPA within designated timeframes.
14. Prioritize Environment, Health & Safety (ZERO Harm).
15. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives like Kaizen, 5 Whys, and others.
16. Implement continuous improvement projects such as WAVE savings and KTS.
17. Accurately record all relevant data and documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related technical field.
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of technical concepts.
• Proficient in English, capable of reading technical documents and communicating effectively.
• Basic computer literacy with standard software tools.
