Process/Equipment
- Lead and supervise line technicians during the shift.
- Ensure SMT lines (Pick & Place, SPI, AOI, Xray, Reflow, Printer, Pressfit, Router, Wave & washing machine) run smoothly according to the production plan.
- Ensure production lines (Smart and electrical torque screw driver, Zebra label printer, TIM dispenser and tooling) run smoothly according to the production plan.
- Coordinate changeovers and setups to minimize downtime.
- Monitor material availability and escalate shortages in advance.
Quality Assurance
- Verify that all products meet quality standards by ensuring proper machine setup and inspection results.
- Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and sample verification before mass production.
- Enforce ESD, workmanship, and process control compliance.
- Escalate quality issues promptly to engineers or QA for corrective action.
- Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and guidance to line technicians.
- Assign tasks and monitor workforce allocation to balance workload.
- Act as the first point of contact for any shift-level issues.
Line Performance & Reporting
- Track shift performance (output, yield, downtime, and rejects).
- Ensure production data and reports are completed accurately and on time.
- Highlight any equipment, process, or manpower issues affecting the shift.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company safety rules and 5S practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
- Promote continuous improvement culture among team members.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma in (Electrical/Electronic/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering)
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in SMT production, Box build/ Mechanical Assembly; leadership experience an advantage.
- Good knowledge of SMT machines (Fuji, Panasonic, Yamaha, SPI, AOI, Reflow, etc.).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and handle pressure.
