Job summary

A water systems solutions company in Negeri Sembilan is seeking an Engineering professional to handle proposal preparation, site visits, and technical calculations. Candidates should possess a degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, with a preference for Mandarin speakers. This position is also open to fresh graduates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Study enquiry information, specifications, and drawings.
• Attend site visits and tender briefings.
• Prepare preliminary mass balance calculations, equipment sizing, and layout.
• Develop preliminary Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) or Block Flow Diagrams (BFD).
• Prepare RFQs and cost estimates for proposals or tenders.
• Update technical documents and costing databases.
• Assist in submitting proposals or tenders.
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines for quality proposals.
• Attend technical clarification meetings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills

Good command of both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia

Good command of both written and spoken English

Basic knowledge of wastewater treatment

Computer literate (AutoCAD, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Mandarin speaker

Attend site visits and tender briefings when necessary.

Prepare preliminary mass balance calculations, equipment sizing, and layout.

Develop preliminary Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) or Block Flow Diagrams (BFD).

Prepare RFQs and cost estimates for proposals or tenders.

Update technical documents and costing databases in the server.

Assist to submit proposals or tenders to the sales team.

Collaborate with multiple disciplines to ensure quality and competitive proposals are developed and delivered on time.
