Position Summary:

Responsible for setting up, developing, and maintaining processes to improve yield, quality, reliability, and UPH.

Highly capable of troubleshooting and resolving process issues, investigating quality issues by applying problem-solving skills, statistical analysis methods, Six Sigma tools, and other quality tools.

What You Will Do:

  1. Responsible for sustaining stable Pick and Place (PnP) and DOSC attach processes.
  2. Full process ownership on quality, yield, damage containment, process capability and stability, cost, CpK, and other related KPIs.
  3. Perform process window studies using standard tools like DoE approach and material/equipment assessment to optimize processes in terms of cost and quality.
  4. Responsible for process development and optimization to improve process quality and reliability.
  5. Establish optimal processes and provide support to train the operations team.
  6. Develop equipment and material specifications for TnR/PnP processes, including reject and acceptance criteria.
  7. Lead process transfer, process & tool qualification, and ramp-related projects.
  8. Lead and drive Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) to enable cost reduction, capacity expansion, yield, and performance enhancement for producing top-quality LED chips at competitive costs.
  9. Create and maintain documentation, certification, and compliance of procedures in assigned areas according to safety and quality standards to meet legal and customer requirements.
  10. Perform risk assessments and implement necessary controls to maintain process stability. Owner of PFMEA, control plans, and work instructions.

What You Will Bring (Required Qualifications) – if you have work experience:

  • Good skills in Pick and Place, ASM & Datacon equipment.
  • Good understanding of semiconductor-related adhesive tapes and equipment.
  • Skilled in statistical analysis tools, 8D problem solving, SPC, FMEA, DMAIC.
  • Problem-solving orientation with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with mature interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or relevant technical field.
